By accessing and using BolehTools ("the Service", "we", "our", or "us") at bolehtools.com, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Malaysian courts.

2. Description of Service

BolehTools provides free, web-based tools for processing PDF files, editing images, formatting JSON data, and other utility functions. All processing is performed locally in your web browser using client-side JavaScript and WebAssembly technologies. No account registration or payment is required to use the Service.

Available tools include:

3. User Obligations

When using our Service, you agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Not use the Service to process illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Not use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including Malaysian law
• Not use the Service for any commercial purposes that violate these terms
• Respect intellectual property rights of others

4. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by BolehTools and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain all ownership rights to files you upload and process through the Service. We do not claim any ownership rights to your files or processed outputs. All processed files remain your property and are never stored on our servers.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected
• The Service is free of viruses or other harmful components
• The Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY MALAYSIAN LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BOLEHTOOLS, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. You are responsible for backing up any important files before processing them through the Service. We recommend testing the Service with non-critical files first to ensure it meets your needs.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which complies with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding your personal data. All file processing occurs locally in your browser, and we do not have access to your files.

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by BolehTools. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

You acknowledge and agree that BolehTools shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites or services.

9. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service. We may add new features, remove existing features, or change functionality at any time.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms of Use at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms of Use.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Since we do not store your files or require account registration, termination does not affect any files you have processed through the Service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
